SPEERI Appoints Executive Director

The Scottish Partnership in Energy and Engineering Research & Innovation (SPEERI) announced the appointment of Claire Ordoyno as Executive Director.

Formerly the Executive Director of the Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe), she held various positions within the engineering partnership. Prior to her roles within SRPe, Claire managed International Collaborations at the CMAC Future Manufacturing Research Hub at the University of Strathclyde.

Claire has a first-class degree in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde. She has extensive leadership and technical expertise in science and engineering, gained from a 15-year career in industry followed by 10 years driving innovation and collaboration at the interface of academia and industry/public sector.
