SPEERI - Energy

SPEERI is an independent partnership of 14 Scottish universities, and has been engaged in world-class energy research and innovation for almost two decades - first under the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) and now as the integrated organisation of SPEERI.

SPEERI drives collaboration between universities, industry and public sector to deliver unparalleled R&I capability across a range of energy technologies.

Our work covers 6 thematic areas:

• Energy and Efficiency in Buildings

• Energy Grids & Infrastructure

• Energy Policy, People & Society

• Hydrogen & Advanced Fuels

• Renewable Energy Generation

The academics that work collaboratively under each theme are a national strategic research resource that provides expertise to government and industry, as well as to the wider UK and international research communities.
