Our Governance

Our governance structure is formed of two Academic Advisory Groups, connected through our SPEERI board. Together, these groups form a robust advisory network that acts as champions for SPEERI activity, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, ensures relevance to stakeholders, and strengthens strategic alignment across Scotland’s energy and engineering research initiatives.

The Academic Advisory Groups comprise the 10 SPEERI Theme Champions - academic experts from across our pan-Scotland Partnership who drive collaborative activity under the 10 Strategic Themes.
