‘CONNECT TO COLLABORATE’

The SPEERI Annual Conference 2026, “Connect to Collaborate”, will explore how we can turn connections into meaningful collaboration — and collaboration into innovation and impact.

Collaborative working across academia, industry and the public sector is core to the SPEERI mission.

This year’s conference will focus on the practical steps that help make those collaborations happen: finding the right partners, communicating ideas effectively, developing compelling pitches and proposals, engaging with funders and making the most of opportunities to work together.

The conference isn't just about why collaboration matters — it's about how to make collaboration happen.

Through real-world examples of successful collaborative projects, participants will hear from those who have already navigated the journey — what worked, what they learned and what they would do differently. Interactive panels and discussions will explore how to move from that first connection, through developing a strong partnership and securing support, to delivering innovation and creating meaningful impact.

The conference will provide practical insights, inspiration and opportunities to build new relationships — helping participants move from connection to collaboration, collaboration to innovation, and innovation to impact.
