Delivered by the SPEERI Hydrogen and Advanced Fuels Theme Group, this new regular webinar series showcases innovative collaborative projects, at the intersection of academia and industry, within the hydrogen and advanced fuels landscape.

Each webinar will showcase industry and academic collaborative research and innovation projects and initiatives. It will draw upon expertise from both our early career and established academics, drawn from a number of SPEERI’s 14 Scottish member universities.

About the Hydrogen and Advanced Fuels Webinar Series:

This series aims to:

  • Showcase collaborative university–industry projects,

  • Promote knowledge exchange and awareness-raising,

  • Encourage new partnerships within, and beyond, the hydrogen & advanced fuels community and related sectors,

  • Bring together early-career researchers, senior academics, and innovative industry leaders,

  • Provide accessible, non-technical content suitable for a broad audience

Showcase Webinar Series – Session 1: Inaugural Webinar

Hosted in collaboration with the SPEERI Hydrogen & Advanced Fuels Theme Group and led by Robert Gordon University (RGU).

Join us for the first session in a new regular webinar series designed to showcase innovative collaborative projects at the intersection of academia and industry within the hydrogen and advanced fuels landscape.

This inaugural webinar highlights a range of hydrogen projects; including the ground-breaking research into reducing hydrogen production costs by integrating waste streams, from an Innovate UK-funded KTP project at RGU, and features insights from an ETP-funded HGV Hydrogen Energy Hub project in collaboration with University of Dundee and Dalhousie Estates.

Our second session, in this new regular webinar series, will showcase innovative collaborative projects at the intersection of academia and industry in the hydrogen-derived fuels landscape.
